At that point the only thing you're missing out on is the stealth role ability, but honestly it's uneeded as you won't be rushing in with a dagger in the first place. Enchant your own muffle boots (which will have 100% muffle regardless of your enchanting level or soul gem) and then the "Muffled Movement" and "Silence" perks become useless. You can just rush for sneak archery and ignore the rest of the tree. Max out archery, use a sword and shield if you feel like some melee (I recommend the Shield of Solitude dat magic resist) Sneak attack when possible.
Have fun standing in front of dragon breath and laughing like some mad god. Thankfully the Atronach Stone lets you absorb 50% of that and Bretons have 25% magic resist.
Spell casters move a lot and can cast spells that destroy you regardless of armor. Redguards start with bonuses on One-Handed and Archery skills, which are pretty much the bread-n-butter of assassins.
